● The nature experience
This walk takes place fairly close to the camp. You will have the opportunity to get close to the surrounding fauna and flora, and also learn to identify which footprints belong to which native animal species.
Option to end the safari experience with breakfast or lunch, in the wild.
In general, the walk lasts between 1.5 to 2 hours.
To ensure your safety, an armed guide and ranger will accompany you.
● The tracking experience
This exclusive safari at Jongomero is better suited to experienced explorers, who feel comfortable in nature and have had previous contact with wild animals.
The tracking methods used are inspired by past hunting techniques. This allows for a tactful approach, on foot and in a small group, to observe lions and/ or elephants.
The animals are first tracked by guides earlier in the morning - you will then follow in their footsteps, literally!
It’s important to note this particular adventure requires a solid briefing and strict adherence with the safety rules. This is both for your safety and to make sure that the animals are not disturbed.
The presence of certain animals can change from day to day - this is just life in the wild.
To ensure your safety, you will be accompanied by the Camp’s Head Guide, an armed ranger and a Maasaï member.
Participation in this program is subject to the agreement of the Head Guide.
